11i Navigate Oracle Applications
This module you will learn how to access and navigate within Oracle Applications, release 11i. Students learn to enter data, retrieve information in the form of a query, maintain data, use flexfields, and access online help. Additionally, this course covers concurrent processing and standard report submission. This course is the first step on all 11i learning paths and is relevant for all levels of Oracle Applications users.
11i/2.6 Implement Oracle Workflow
This module provides an overview of the architecture and features of Oracle Workflow and the benefits of using Oracle Workflow in an e-business environment. You can learn how to define event subscriptions to perform processing triggered by business events and how to design workflow processes to automate and streamline business processes. Students also learn how to write custom PL/SQL procedures for use in workflow processes and what setup steps are required for Oracle Workflow. Demonstrations and hands-on practice reinforce the fundamental concept.
11i eBusiness Suite Essentials for Implementers
This module provides an overview of E-business Suite architecture, Shared Entities and basic integration, Oracle Workflow, Multi-Org, Flexfields, Alerts and System Administration for functional implementers.
The E-business Essentials for Implementers course provides a foundation for any E-business Suite Fundamentals course, and is a prerequisite for any functional implementer new to Oracle Technology.
11i Install, Patch and Maintain Oracle Applications
This module provides students with a basic understanding of the architecture, database and file system used within Oracle Applications Release 11i. Students learn about the multi-tier architecture used to provide user access over the Internet or an intranet and the relationship between Oracle Applications and the Oracle 8i database. The course covers the structure of the file system used to store the Applications product files, environment files, and additional files required to support multiple languages in Release 11i; when and how to use AD Administration and the other AD utilities; and an introduction to patch terminology and the patch creation process. Students will also learn how to use the Rapid Install utility to perform both single and multi-node installs, the AD Administration and other AD utilities to maintain Oracle Applications, and the AutoPatch utility to automate the application of Oracle Applications patches, mini-packs, and maintenance packs.
11i General Ledger Management Fundamentals
This module prepares Implementation consultants to institute statutory financial controls, reduce the period close cycle, access financial data, and deliver comprehensive financial reporting.
The General Ledger Management Fundamentals course is a part of the Learning Path for Implementation Consultants, and will prepare you to ensure the highest transaction rates, largest data volumes, and smallest processing windows needed to keep your company competitive.
11i System Administrator Fundamentals
In this module you will learn concepts and functions that are critical to the System Administrator role. You will also learn information to help you manage the 11i E-Business Suite, such as workflows and alerts that are specifically tailored to the System Administrator's needs. The System Administrator Fundamentals course is a part of the Learning Path for Implementation Consultants and will provide you with the foundation you need to effectively control security and ensure smooth op! erations for an E-Business Suite installation.
11i Oracle Payables Fundamentals
In this module, participants learn how to set up and use Oracle Payables to manage the accounts payable process. Participants learn how to manage suppliers, process invoices as well as payments and generate key reports. Participants also learn how to approve invoices for payment, process stop and void payments, setup bank accounts and process payment batches. Finally, the students learn how to close accounts payable periods and transfer accounting details to the general ledger.
11i Oracle Receivables Fundamentals
In this module, participants learn how to use Oracle Receivables to manage the accounts receivable process. There are hands-on exercises, through which the participants learn how to manage customers, process invoices and manage collections and submit reports.
Finally, the students learn how to close accounts receivable periods and transfer accounting details to the general ledger.
11i Implement & Use Cash Management
In this module, participants will learn how to setup and use Oracle Cash Management to import and reconcile bank statements. Participants will also practice posting updated information to Oracle General Ledger and generating Oracle Cash Management reports. Finally, the participants will learn how to generate cash forecasts using the data across organizations.
11i Asset Management Fundamentals
Oracle Asset Management can help enterprises lower administrative costs by streamlining data management. In this course you will learn the fundamental concepts and implementation considerations of Oracle Asset Management. Concepts learned through a series of tutorials, demonstrations, and practices. This course is part of the overall Asset Management Learning Path for Implementation Consultants
